Windows QA appears to have been lacking in the recent year. Multiple “flash‑bang” incidents occurred, and even PowerTools—my favorite Windows utility for making the OS a bit more user‑friendly—repeatedly crashed on me without warning due to a software bug.

Happy “Gnu 🐧” Year
During the Christmas downtime I finally spent some time reinstalling my daily‑driver desktop with Linux. I’m not sure why it took me this long, to be honest.
